Kaitlyn + Lucas | downtown bozeman engagement session
There’s something about starting an engagement session in a bar that just feels right — relaxed, a little nostalgic, and completely them.
We kicked off this downtown Bozeman engagement session at Est. 1864, tucked right in the heart of the city. With its vintage wallpaper, warm lamplight, and red leather booths, it gave us that intimate, old-soul Montana vibe. They ordered drinks, leaned in close, and laughed like they were the only two people in the room. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like a date night.
She wore the dreamiest layered white dress paired with heels, and he kept it effortlessly cool in denim and boots — the perfect blend of elevated and western. The way he looked at her across that booth? Immediate proof we chose the right first stop.
After soaking up the cozy downtown energy, we headed out to Cherry River Fishing Access for golden hour. The shift from moody interiors to open Montana fields couldn’t have been more perfect. Wrapped up in soft knits with the mountains in the distance, they held each other like it was second nature — steady, calm, and completely at home.
That’s what I love most about sessions like this: the contrast. A little downtown edge. A little wild Montana landscape.
Bozeman really does give you the best of both worlds. And these two? They made it magic. ✨
