Whitefish, Montana Wedding at Clydesdale Outpost | Hailey + Austin
There are some wedding days that feel like they were made for a little rain.
Hailey and Austin’s wedding at Clydesdale Outpost in Whitefish, Montana was one of those days. With the mountains and forest surrounding them, a gentle rain fell throughout their celebration, creating an atmosphere that felt romantic, intimate, and completely their own.
The rain didn’t take away from the beauty of the day—it became part of the story.
Their ceremony took place outdoors, with friends and family gathered along the aisle and umbrellas appearing and then being closed as the rain magically held off for their ceremony. Hailey arrived in a horse drawn carraige which added to the romance of the day. There was something especially beautiful about watching the two of them begin their marriage in the middle of a Montana summer shower, embraced by their closest people.
After the ceremony, the rain gave everyone an excuse to lean in a little closer. Their wedding party photos were full of energy and laughter as everyone couldn’t believe the storms had stopped just in time for these two to say ‘I do’.
The thoughtful details throughout the day made the celebration feel distinctly Hailey and Austin. Their stationery incorporated elegant black and white details, horseshoes, and subtle nods to the Western Montana setting. Bright yellow, coral, and pastel flowers added color against the classic black and brown attire of the wedding party, while personal details like the invitation suite, perfume, shoes, rings, and horseshoes told the story of the day before the celebration even began.
