Winter Wedding In Big Sky, Montana

When it comes to planning a dreamy elopement, Big Sky, Montana should be at the top of the list. With its breathtaking natural beauty and serene atmosphere, this charming town offers the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding celebration. Natalie + Zach had their intimate wedding at her parent’s home in Big Sky right before Christmas. It was a perfect location surrounded by pine trees and nestled between the foothills of Lone Peak. Tall grasses peeked through the snow and glowed yellow in the winter sun.

When we first connected last summer, they shared that they wanted to say their vows privately in an intimate ceremony before the big celebration with extended family and friends the following summer. Eloping in Big Sky was perfect for them, just immediate family, the officiant, and me. The details of the day were beautiful and the time together felt simple but intentional, buzzing with excitement but also calm and relaxed. Natalie wore beautiful heirloom jewelry and a homemade chocolate cake and flowers adorned the dining table.

Natalie and Zach shared beautiful vows while overlooking the snowy mountains and beamed with happiness right before the kiss. After the ceremony, we captured a few family photos and then explored the property for some couple’s photos. After a few hours, I left them as they departed for a dinner celebration down the road.

I can’t wait to capture their big celebration next summer!
